Podcast of interview with Mazda Jamasbi on Wednesday, January 6, 2010.

On Wednesday 6 of January 2010, Dr. Dora Robinson will be talking with her guest Mazda Jamasbi from 6pm till 7pm Central Texas Time.

Mazda is a typical 21st century knowledge worker. He was a business and marketing manager for large fortune 500 companies (Dell, Unisys, Siemens) and small VC backed startups until 2009 when he decided it was time to strike out on his own. He started River Place Consulting, LLC which helps small and medium size businesses with marketing communications and product strategy as well as effective ways to measure business performance.

Mazda worked in the Silicon Valley for nearly 20 years before coming to Austin in 2004. Although he spent most of his career developing and marketing tangible goods for the high-tech industry, his experience also includes marketing information goods and services (knowledge) on the Internet. This part of the industry is the fastest growing and the most rapidly-changing part of the high-tech industry and the one with the most profound impact on the lives of individuals for many years to come.”

Mazda is writing a blog about being invited to KOOP as a guest-speaker and the material he plans to cover at mazdajamasbi.blogspot.com.

Also present will be co-hosts Dillon McKinsey, Lee K. Davis, and Francois Pointeau.

And remember, you can catch Writing on the Air live on 91.7 FM if you’re in the direct Austin area, or live on the live stream @ KOOP.org. If you miss us live, you will be able to listen to the show here after Lee posts the show online.
