G. F. Harper attended Saint Edward’s University for a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a specialization in Creative Writing, minor in Psychology. Harper obtained an Associate of Arts from Austin Community College as well.

Harper is a co-founder of Chicon Street Poets, an Austin based poetry collective & poetry journal. He also founded the small publishing press, Lit City Publishing — a start-up in its elementary stages. Harper has work in Dark Lady Poetry, Refined Savage Poetry Review, and Farmhouse Magazine. He has a great collection of rejection letters as well.

Performer, Writer, and Father — C.J. Edwards’ lyrical poetry is captivating and takes the reader on a quest, perhaps a personal one, which moves through celestial and oceanic wanderings, idealistic conundrum, and the mountainous terrain of life.  If the work seems rough around the edges at times, these are his honest reflections, his spirited take on the vivacity of what it means to be human, full of fallacy; all the while, full of possibility.
