Jill Meyers is the cofounder of A Strange Object, an award-winning independent press based in Austin. The press’s last title was named a best book of the year by NPR, and its next book, Man and Wife, is due out in May 2016. Before A Strange Object, Jill edited the literary magazine American Short Fiction. She is the founder and codirector of Lit Crawl Austin, now in its fifth year, and serves as a volunteer chair for the Texas Book Festival.
