This week, our guest is Malachi Black.

Malachi Black is Literary Editor of The New York Quarterly and a James A. Michener Fellow at UT–Austin’s Michener Center for Writers. A 2009 Ruth Lilly Fellow, his work has appeared or is forthcoming in Poetry, the Southwest Review, Best New Poets 2008, AGNI Online, the Iowa Review, and elsewhere.

Among other things, we will be talking about his new book Echolocation, published by Float Press.

Echolocation was produced as a limited edition of 100 copies. The double cover is Neenah Classic Columns and was letterpressed on a 1908 Golding Jobber #6. The outer cover is blind embossed and hand cut; the inner cover is printed with a metallic silver ink. The interior pages are archive quality Cougar White and were digitally printed at McCarthy Print. Arno Pro and Helvetica are the interior fonts. Each chapbook was bound by hand. A portion of sales will benefit the Austin Vet Center.

You can send you email address to the following email address and ask to be added to the Float Press e-news list. That way, you can use Pay Pal to buy chapbooks. Or, you can send a cash or check (made out to Float Press) for $19.56 (includes tax and shipping) to the address below.
