Ebony Stewart is all things black girl and magic, She is the only adult female three-time Slam Champion in Austin, Texas. Voted Slam Artist of the Year in 2012 and nominated top eight of Austin’s MUST SEE! Ebony has also shared stages with Buddy Wakefield and the late Amiri Braka. She was one of the leading members of the Austin Neo-Soul slam team in 2010, ranking 4th in the Nation, co-coached the Neo-Soul slam team finishing 1st place in Group Piece Finals, and coached the Austin Poetry Slam team leading them to 5th place at the National Poetry Slam.

Off stage, Ebony is probably writing poetry, eating cupcakes, or reading a book. That is, if she isn’t teaching Sex Education to 6th and 7th graders.
