Do you like Poetry?
Do you like Beer?
Do Like “Writing on the Air”? … No, really… have you liked our Facebook page?

Writing on the Air & KOOP Radio are hosting a LIVE remote on-air edition of our show with a LIVE audience at Adelbert’s Brewery! You see, we believe that Beer & Poetry mix well together. There will be Beer – and where there’s beer, everything is better. Where there is Poetry, everything is also better. So, it stands to reason that if we have BOTH Beer & Poetry, everything is much, much better – What Could Go Wrong?

Join & be part of our audience at the brewery for:

Readings by local Austin poets,
Discussion about poetry and the creative process, and
Beer drinking!

Then stay after our show to enjoy a poetry open mic with other people in Austin interested in both poetry and beer!

Our Featured Poets for the broadcast:
After reading many poems by some amazing writers, we are thrilled to say we will hear readings of poems by the following artists!

Danica Obradovic
Emily Arnold
Laurie Filipelli
Michael Aaron Casares
Tre’ Beck

What you should bring – Readiness for fun … Love or Joy of poetry … Taste for beer … and a folding chair (unless you want to stand… which makes getting a second beer easier).
