Each Wednesday evening from 6pm – 7pm Central, we sit down with writers and talk with them about their words, their writing careers, their creative processes, and more — always more, because we routinely veer off topic. We are broadcast from the KOOP radio studios in Austin, Texas. We’re heard on 91.7FM KOOP – Austin and streaming online at KOOP.org, TuneIn.com and Radio Free America. com. Episodes are available in the KOOP Radio Free America archive for two weeks after broadcast.
Our guests include local and national writers, both the award-winning and up-and-coming. You’ll hear authors, journalists, screenwriters, singer-songwriters, historians, poets and cookbook authors in addition to publishers, literary agents, editors and publishers. You’ll also hear about book-related events in the community.
